Art therapy offers a gentle and creative way to explore what matters most, especially when words alone are not enough. In my own journey, it has helped me process challenges, reconnect with my strengths, and discover hope—and I’ve witnessed the same growth in those I support. My approach is guided by each individual, drawing on the MIECAT framework of inquiry and grounded in values of curiosity, deep listening, and building safe, respectful relationships. Sometimes we use structured activities, but often the process emerges naturally, shaped by your interests, needs, and experiences.

This is a 6 week art therapy group online called Coming Home to You: A Journey to Self-Worth & Confidence.
Women only space.
Duration: 6 weeks and sessions run for 90 min

If you have ever experienced the “I’m not good enough” story and felt lack, self-doubt, insecurities or low confidence & self-esteem this is the place for you and you are NOT alone. These creative sessions will guide you thought art activities that explore:
❤️ Your self-worth, identity, the power of narrative/thoughts.
💜 Understanding the inner-critic vs our emergent self.
💛 Cultivating self-compassion, trust in your decisions, embracing courage.
💚 Clarifying what you value and want and celebrating your strengths
💙 Finding peace & grounding-through being present.
🧡 Designing a self-worth toolkit.
Note: No prior art experience necessary. Process over perfection. A list of suggested materials will be emailed to you before the sessions begin. Feel free to use any materials you have lying around the house and add as you go. 
For me I've personally I’ve struggled with low self-worth, and confidence and it's something that is an ongoing journey to nurture myself, learn and reflect — being able to change and grow requires honesty & in my experience support. The great thing is none of this is “fixed,” but something you can actively work towards. So I'm excited to create a safe space to explore with others. Come join in on this journey in the new year.

This Online group offers a safe, creative space to explore the emotional side of your health and wellbeing journey.
Drop in any month. This group is open to all and supported by Alevia Medical Weight Loss Clinic.
Time: 7-8:30pm Monday’s monthly (see dates below)
Through guided art-making and gentle reflection, we’ll explore themes such as:
- Building self-worth and confidence 
- Understanding emotional eating patterns 
- Discovering healthy self-soothing strategies 
- Reconnecting with values, meaning, and purpose

Emotional Eating Patterns
- Using food to cope with stress, sadness, boredom, or loneliness. 
- Feeling stuck in a cycle of eating to feel better, then feeling worse afterward. 
Shame & Isolation
- Avoiding social situations due to body image concerns. 
- Feeling “different” or misunderstood by others. 
Loss of Motivation
- Starting strong with weight loss but feeling discouraged over time. 
- Unclear about your deeper “why” for wanting change. 
Low Self-Worth & Negative Body Image
- Struggling to feel good about yourself regardless of weight changes. 
- Difficulty separating self-value from physical appearance. 
Lack of Emotional Coping Tools
- Not knowing how to soothe or regulate emotions without turning to food. 
- Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or sad and have not many healthy outlets.
